Of course the jet-leg is not meant to last until the Olympics. Maybe only for a week or so. Haven´t you been there?, I mean feeling really tired and sore for days from a long flight?
>>3 regattas are not too many>> but have you ever thought about the logistics to sail a race down under in your own boat and after a month one in Europe again with your prefered own boat? As an elimination trial? The time would be better spend training with a strong partner, with team mates to get the bugs sorted and the boat/sails/gear up to speed. The goal is to beat the competition at the Olympics and therefore you need hours in the boat and not hours spending on airports, packing, re-covering etc.Fredhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09019613595647619687noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22781414.post-69948298605063665922007-10-10T15:20:00.000+02:002007-10-10T15:20:00.000+02:00>Our German sailors have to participate in a regat...>Our German sailors have to participate in a regatta in New Zealand in February, have to sail one in March in Spain (Mallorca) and another one in April in France, Hyeres. All in the year 2008 of course. Just think about the logistics involved.
